My story...

You see this little patch of bald? Know what?? I have to brag a little... in September of 2014, I had my very first MRI done... after having suffered migraines since I was a kid. (Note that I was 24 at that time lol) anyway; I had gone to this neurologist about my shaking and twitching. His exact words were "I don't think we'll find anything, but let's do an MRI to take a look, anyway..." a few weeks later, we met back up with him for a follow up and found that I had a tumor growing from my skull to my brain. The neurosurgeon we met with the following week gave us the option to either wait it out and see if it grew any... as well as shorter option; which was to go on and have it removed... so the next day they got me in to have it removed. At first, I was ashamed of my scar... (shh, don't tell my husband!) within 18 hours of my surgery, they sent me on home... I don't know what was harder... dealing with the tumor or not telling the world about it until after my surgery! Anyway, the tumor was benign, thankfully! And here we are almost 3 years later. I'm proud of my scar! I'm so thankful to the surgeon who removed it; Dr. Karl Sillay; whom I haven't seen since 2015... but I did get to thank him before he left. Now, I want to hear YOUR stories. ❤️
